The authors introduce the notion of admissible family in a Banach space which contains the family of compact sets, the family of compact convex sets, and the family of singletons. They study the existence of a fixed point of nonexpansive set-valued maps whose values are in some admissible family. They also study the topological structure of the fixed-point sets of these maps.
