In this paper it is shown that signed Kazhdan-Lusztig polynomials are ordinary Kazhdan-Lusztig polynomials evaluated at \(-q\) and multiplied by a sign. This implies a signature character inversion formula and has applications to finding the unitary dual for real reductive Lie groups.
