The authors develop a theory of Nijenhuis forms on \(L_\infty\)-algebras. They first introduce a bracket of graded symmetric vector valued forms on a Richardson-Nijenhuis space. This bracket enables them to characterize \(L_\infty\)-structures as Poisson objects on the graded Lie algebra. Then, examples of Nijenhuis forms are constructed on general Lie n-algebras. The case \(n=2\) is treated alone. The notions of extension by derivation are also introduced. These notions are used to obtain examples of weak Nijenhuis and co-boundary Nijenhuis vector valued forms.
