Let \(\mathcal{B}(H)\) denote the algebra of all bounded operators on an infinite-dimen\-sional Hilbert space \(H\). The space \(\mathrm{OL}(\mathbb{R})\) of operator Lipschitz functions consists of \(f\in C(\mathbb{R})\) such that \[ \|f(A_1)- f(A_2)\|\leq c \|A_1 - A_2\| \] for a constant \(c>0\) and all self-adjoint operators \(A_1, A_2\in \mathcal{B}(H)\). The author obtains a series of results related to \(\mathrm{OL}(\mathbb{R})\), \((\mathrm{OL})^\prime(\mathbb{R}) = \{f^\prime: f\in\mathrm{OL}(\mathbb{R})\}\) and the model spaces \(H^\infty \cap \Theta \overline{H^\infty}\). Here \(H^\infty\) denotes the space of bounded analytic functions on the upper half-plane, and \(\Theta\in H^\infty\) is an inner function. A substantial part of the corresponding arguments is based on an extension of a theorem by \textit{J. Arazy} et al. [Integral Equations Oper.\ Theory 13, No.\,4, 461--487 (1990; Zbl 0731.46033)]. So, the author proves that \(H^\infty \cap \Theta \overline{H^\infty}\subset \mathrm{OL}(\mathbb{R})\) if and only if \(\Theta\) is a usual Lipschitz function, that is, \(\Theta^\prime\in H^\infty\); \(H^\infty \cap \Theta \overline{H^\infty} \subset (OL)^\prime(\mathbb{R})\) if \(\Theta\) is a Blaschke product with uniformly Frostman zeros. Also, the author investigates the following properties: \(\Theta\in (\mathrm{OL})^\prime(\mathbb{R})\) and \(\Psi\in (\mathrm{OL})^\prime(\mathbb{R})\) for any divisor \(\Psi\) of \(\Theta\). He proves that \((\mathrm{OL})^\prime(\mathbb{R})\) is not a subalgebra of \(L^\infty(\mathbb{R})\), and he characterizes the sets of discontinuity points for \(f\in (\mathrm{OL})^\prime(\mathbb{R})\).
