Let \(\Gamma \subset\mathrm{PSL}_2(\mathbb R)\) denote a Fuchsian subgroup of the first kind which acts on the hyperbolic space \(\mathbb H\) and \(M=\Gamma \backslash \mathbb H\). The authors discuss the parabolic Eisenstein series \(E(z,s)\) for \(z\in M\) and \(\mathrm{Re }s>1\). The hyperbolic and elliptic Eisenstein series are also considered. The Eisenstein series are expressed as integral transforms of the wave kernel.
