The article is concerned with linear multi-delay differential equations, also containing piecewise constant delays. For their numerical solutions, special basis functions are studied which reflect the special nature of delay problems. These are hybrid systems consisting of block-pulse functions and Bernoulli polynomials. Various numerical examples illustrate the approach.
