The authors consider the convective Brinkman-Forchheimer equations an a three-dimensional periodic domain. By the energy arguments, a class of strong solution is proved as the absorption r larger than 3, or r = 1 with large Brinkman coefficient and Forchheimer coefficient. Further, it is showed that the weak solution verifies the energy equality in the critical case r = 3. Finally, by applying the theory of evolutionary systems developed by Cheskidov, the authors showed the existence of a strong global attractor.
