An extension to the multidimensional case of a set of four twostep Newton-like iterative methods with fourth order of convergence for solving systems of nonlinear equations is introduced. These specific cases, previously introduced in the recent literature for the scalar case, are considered and studied in detail. Actually, using an operator presented in this work, the known algorithms for solving scalar equations are built up in the multivariate case. Results of several numerical examples given by systems of nonlinear equations and an application to a nonlinear integral equation of Hammerstein type, depending on a real parameter are given.
