In the paper under review the author studies the sets of points of uniform convergence and the sets of equi-continuity points of some sequences of functions from a topological space \(X\) to a metric space \((Y,d)\). Recall that: \begin{itemize} \item \((f_n)_n\) \textit{converges uniformly at a point \(x\in X\)} if for every \(\varepsilon>0\) there are a neighbourhood \(U\) of \(x\) and \(n_0\in\mathbb{N}\) such that \(d(f_n(y),f_m(y))<\varepsilon\) for all \(y\in U\) and \(n,m\geq n_0\); \item \((f_n)_n\) is \textit{equi-quasi-continuous at \(x\)} if for every \(\varepsilon>0\) and for every open neighbourhood \(U\) of \(x\) there are \(n_0\in\mathbb{N}\) and a non-empty open set \(G\subset U\) with \(|f_n(y)-f_n(x)|<\varepsilon\) for \(y\in G\) and \(n\geq n_0\).\end{itemize} In the first part of the paper the author proves that a subset \(G\) of a metric space \(X\) is a set of uniform convergence for some convergent sequence of real functions iff \(G\) is a \(G_\delta\) set containing all isolated points of \(X\). Moreover, every \(G_\delta\) set is equal to the set of uniform convergence of some sequence of quasi-continuous functions. In the second part of the paper the author studies sets of equi-quasi-continuity of sequences of functions. In particular, he proves that a subset \(G\) of a resolvable space \(X\) is the set of equi-quasi-continuity points of some convergent sequence \(f_n:X\to\mathbb{R}\) iff \(G\) is the countable intersection of a sequence of semi-open sets in \(X\). Finally, the author obtains the following characterization of Baire spaces. Let \(X\) be a metric space, then the following conditions are equivalent: \begin{itemize} \item[(i)] \(X\) is a Baire space; \item[(ii)] if \(f_n:X\to\mathbb{R}\) is a convergent sequence of quasi-continuous functions then the set \(UC(f_n)_n\) is dense; \item[(iii)] if \(f_n:X\to\mathbb{R}\) is a convergent sequence of quasi-continuous functions then the set \(EQ(f_n)_n\) is dense.\end{itemize}
