    The main goal of the paper is to establish the mixing decay estimates when \(t\to \infty\) and \(\nu\to 0\) for the solutions to the Cauchy problem for the following hyperbolic drift-diffusion equation \[ \begin{cases} f_{t}(t,x,y)+u\,f_{x}(t,x,y)=\nu\,f_{y y} (t,x,y),\quad (t,x,y)\in (0,\infty)\times \mathbb{T}\times\mathbb{R},\\ f(0,x,y)=f_0(x,y),\quad (x,y)\in \mathbb{T}\times\mathbb{R}, \end{cases}\tag{1} \] where \(u:\mathbb{R}\to \mathbb{R}\). Assume that \(u\in C^3(\mathbb{R})\) and that there exists \(u_0\ge 1\) such that \[ u'(y)\ge u^{-1}_0,\quad |u''(u)|\le u_0\,u'(y),\quad |u'''(u)|\le u_0\,u'(y),\quad \forall y\in \mathbb{R}.\tag{2} \] Under the Conditions (2), the author proves that there exist \(C_0\ge 1\) and \(\varepsilon_0,\nu_0\in (0,1)\), only depending on \(u_0\), such that, if \(\nu\in[0,\nu_0]\), then the following decay estimates for solutions of (1) \[ ||f_{\neq}(t)||_{u'}\le C_0\,e^{-\varepsilon_0\,\nu^{1/3}\,t}\,||f_{0\,\neq}||_{u'}, \quad t\ge 0, \] \[ ||f_{\neq}(t)||_{H^{-1}}\le \frac{C_0}{\sqrt{1+t^2}}\,e^{-\varepsilon_0\,\nu^{1/3}\,t}\,\big[||f_{0\,\neq}||_{u'}+||\partial_{y}f_{0\,\neq}||_{u'}\big],\quad t\ge 0, \] hold, where \(f_{\neq}\) denotes the projection of \(f\) onto non-zero modes in \(x\), \(H^{-1}\) is the usual Sobolev space and \(\displaystyle ||f||_{u'}^2=||f||_{L^2}^2+||u'\,f||_{L^2}^2\).
