Let $(X,\rho_X)$ and $(Y,\rho_Y)$ be metric spaces and $G_i$, $i=1,2$ be mappings from $X$ to the collection of nonempty closed subsets of $Y$. Recall that a point $\xi\in X$ is called a coincidence point of $G_1$ and $G_2$ if $G_1(\xi)\cap G_2(\xi)\ne \emptyset$ and a generalized coincidence point if $\text{dist}_Y(G_1(\xi),G_2(\xi))=0$. Extending a result from the paper [\textit{A. V. Arutyunov} et al., Fixed Point Theory 20, No. 1, 31--58 (2019; Zbl 1454.54027)], the authors obtain conditions under which the existence of a generalized coincidence point of mappings $G_i(\cdot,t)$, $i=1,2$ (depending on a parameter $t$ belonging to a metric space $T$) for one value of $t$ implies the existence of coincidence points for each value of $t\in T$, and also that the set of coincidence points is dense in the set of generalized coincidence points of $G_1$ and $G_2$. As a consequence, conditions for the existence and sequential continuity of an implicit set-valued mapping are derived.
