In [\textit{S. Faridi}, Manuscr. Math. 109, No. 2, 159--174 (2002; Zbl 1005.13006)] the facet ideal of a simplicial complex is introduced. It contrasts with the classical Stanley-Reisner ideal in that the generators of the former are the faces of the simplicial complex. Conversely, given a monomial ideal with square-free minimal monomial generating set, a simplicial complex, called the facet complex, can be associated. In the work under review, the authors associate CW-complexes to monomials that are not square-free (Construction 3.10). This is used to study the standard graded Artinian Gorenstein Algebra associated to a given Nagata polynomial.
