The authors of this article have greatly investigated in previous articles, projective and polar Grassmann spaces, and also spine spaces. A point-line structure \({\mathcal U}=\langle S,{\mathcal L}\rangle\), is a structure where the elements of \(S\) are called points and the elements of \({\mathcal L}\) are subsets of points, called lines. This point-line structure is called a partial linear space, or a point-line space, if two distinct lines share at most one point and every line contains at least two points. This partial linear space is called a linear space if every two distinct points belong to one distinct line. Consider a non-empty subset \({\mathcal D}\subset S\) and consider the set \({\mathcal L}_D:=\{k\cap {\mathcal D}: k\in {\mathcal L} \mbox{ and }|k\cap {\mathcal D}|\geq 2\}\). Then the structure \({\mathcal M}:=\langle {\mathcal D},{\mathcal L}_{\mathcal D}\rangle\) is called a fragment of \({\mathcal U}\) induced by \({\mathcal D}\) and this is a partial linear space itself. A spine space is a particular fragment of a Grassmann space. In this article, the authors introduce the concept of a spine geometry over a polar Grassmann space. The authors determine conditions under which the structure of lines, together with a binary coplanarity relation, is a sufficient system of primitive notions for polar spine spaces. These conditions allow the authors to characterize polar spine spaces in terms of the binary relation of being in one pencil of lines.
