On local solvability and blow-up of solutions of an abstract nonlinear Volterra integral equation (Q745633): Difference between revisions

The authors present local stability and blow up of solutions of an abstract nonlinear Volterra integral equation. They obtain several results about the noncontinuable solution of the Volterra integral equation with a continuous and polar operator-valued kernel and the blow-up of such a solution. A simple example of a Volterra integral equation whose noncontinuable solution is unbounded but not infinitely large is presented.
