Let \(T^ n=\mathbb{R}^ n/\mathbb{Z}^ n\) be an \(n\)-dimensional torus and \(v\) a vector field on \(T^ n\). Further we denote by \(P(x)=\sum v_ k\exp(2\pi i(k,x))\), \(k\in\Lambda\subset \mathbb{Z}^ n\) the trigonometrical polynomial with the spectrum \(\Lambda\). This paper deals with the properties of the vector field \(w\) on \(T^ n\) (\(n\geq 2\)) of the form (1): \(w=v+\varepsilon P\), where \(v\) is a constant vector field and \(P\) is a fixed \(\mathbb{Z}^ n\)-periodical perturbation. The constant vector field \(v\) can be identified with a vector \(v\in\mathbb{R}^ n\). In such a way the vector field \(w\) is understood as a parametric system of vector fields depending on the parameters \(v\in\mathbb{R}^ n\) and \(\varepsilon\in\mathbb{R}\), so \(w\) is an \((n+1)\)-parametric system of vector fields on \(T^ n\). Let \(g^ t\) be the phase flow of the vector field \(w\). For every \(\xi\in\mathbb{R}^{n*}\), \(R(\xi)\) denotes the set of \((v,\varepsilon)\in\mathbb{R}^{n+1}\), such that \(|(\xi,g^ t x- x)|<Ct\) for the constant \(C>0\) and \(t\geq t_ 0\geq 0\). The set \(R(\xi)\) is the so called phase range of the system (1). Some geometrical properties of \(R(\xi)\) are investigated. This interesting paper is well written and organized.
