The authors investigate the stability and convergence of spline methods to the solution of delay-differential equations (DDEs). Making the interior collocation points dependent on three parameters, they show that these methods for DDEs possess a convergence rate of order seven under certain conditions. In addition the authors show that their method is \(P\)-stable and present numerical results.
