Yet another basic analogue of Graf's addition formula (Q1919451): Difference between revisions

The author obtains Graf's type addition and product formulas in the case of Al-Salam-Chihara polynomials defined by \[ S_n(\cos\theta; a,b|q)=a^{-n} (ab;q)_n {}_3\phi_2 \biggl({{q^{-n},ae^{i\theta}, ae^{-i\theta}} \atop{ab,0}};q,q \biggr) \] and, in the sequel, deduce similar formulas for few well-known basic analogues of Bessel's functions. Other interesting deductions are in terms of the \(q\)-Charlier polynomials.
