Abelian quotients of triangulated categories play an important role in cluster theory. For instance, \textit{S. Koenig} and \textit{B. Zhu} in [Math. Z. 258, No. 1, 143--160 (2008; Zbl 1133.18005)], respectively \textit{B. Keller} and \textit{I. Reiten} in [Adv. Math. 211, No. 1, 123--151 (2007; Zbl 1128.18007)], proved that the quotient of a triangulated Hom-finite Krull-Schmidt \(k\)-category (\(k\) is a field) by a cluster-tilting subcategory is abelian. In the present paper, the authors study this kind of results in the theory of higher homological algebra constructed by using \((d+2)\)-triangulated categories and \(d\)-abelian categories. One of the main tools used in this paper is based on the extending of some conditions considered by \textit{B. Grimeland} and \textit{K. M. Jacobsen} in [J. Algebra 439, 110--133 (2015; Zbl 1332.18017)] in the context of triangulated categories.
