A geometric Steinberg formula (Q6063026): Difference between revisions

The authors prove an isomorphism for simple perverse sheaves on the affine Grassmannian of a connected reductive algebraic group that is a geometric counterpart of the Steinberg tensor product formula for simple representations of reductive groups over fields of positive characteristic. One motivation to investigate this question is that it allows one to define and study a conjectural geometric model for blocks of representations of the Frobenius kernel of the reductive group.
