A classical result of quantum invariants of three manifolds implies that the Kuperberg invariant for a semisimple Hopf algebra is equal to the Hennings-Kauffman-Radford invariant for the Drinfeld double of the Hopf algebra. It was conjectured that the result holds in the case of non-semisimple Hopf algebras for a long time. In this paper, the authors give an affirmative answer to this conjecture.
