The author gives a version of the Kirby calculus for framed and spin \(3\)-manifolds and uses it to construct spin and framed versions of the Reshetikhin-Turaev type invariants and Hennings invariants of \(3\)-manifolds. In Section 1, the author proves that two even links, i.e., framed links with even framings, in the \(3\)-sphere determine the same framed \(3\)-manifolds if and only if they can be related by a sequence of handle slides and adding/removing Hopf links with \(0\)-framings. A similar result for spin \(3\)-manifolds is also given. In Section 2, the author constructs an invariant of spin \(3\)-manifold using a spin modular category, which is a certain semisimple ribbon category with an odd degenerate object. This invariant is first constructed as an invariant of even links which is independent under the spin Kirby moves defined in Section 1, and then also as an invariant of (not necessarily even) framed links with characteristic sublinks which are independent under certain moves, in a similar way to the definition of the spin SO(3) invariant of \textit{R. Kirby} and \textit{P. Melvin} [Invent. Math. 105, No. 3, 473-545 (1991; Zbl 0745.57006)]. In Section 3, a version of the Hennings invariant [\textit{M. Hennings}, J. Lond. Math. Soc., II. Ser. 54, No. 3, 594-624 (1996; Zbl 0882.57002)] for spin \(3\)-manifolds is defined for any unimodular, factorizable, quasitriangular Hopf algebra, which is not necessarily ribbon.
