Numerical integration with polynomial exactness over a spherical cap (Q453552): Difference between revisions

The paper is devoted to the problem of numerical integration over spherical caps in \(S^2\) and discusses properties of the studied rules. The authors also study the existence of equal weight rules. The theory is generalized for spherical caps on \(S^d\). Numerical tests illustrate the performance of chosen rules.
