The main result of the paper is Theorem 3.2, which is concerned with the global existence of solutions for a second-order differential inclusion that involves the proximal cone to a Lipschitz admissible set-valued map (where admissibility is defined in terms of uniform prox-regularity). This generalizes earlier results by the first author and \textit{A. Lefebvre-Lepot} [Confluentes Math. 2, No. 4, 445--471 (2010; Zbl 1216.34016)], which correspond to a set-valued map defined by constraints.
