The paper is a continuation of preceding works of the author, addressed to reconsider classical results of spectral theory on a compact manifold \(M\), under new perspective of the isometric action of a compact Lie group \(G\) for an invariant elliptic pseudodifferential operator \(P\) on \(M\). See, in particular [\textit{P. Ramacher}, J. Reine Angew. Math. 716, 29--101 (2016; Zbl 1348.58016)], where a Weyl law was already given for the equivariant counting function \(N_G(\lambda)\). In the present paper, several additional results are proved by using Fourier integral operator techniques. In particular, a characterization of the caustic behavior of the reduced spectral function near singular orbits is given and \(L^p\) bound, \(2\leq p\leq\infty\) are obtained, improving the estimates for generic eigenfunctions of \textit{A. Seeger} and \textit{C. D. Sogge} [Indiana Univ. Math. J. 38, No. 3, 669--682 (1989; Zbl 0703.35133)]. Examples are given showing that these results are sharp, by considering in particular the case when \(M=S^n\), the standard sphere in \(\mathbb{R}^{n+1}\) endowed with the induced metric.
