Normal form approach to near-linear dynamics of modified KdV equation (Q2633719): Difference between revisions

Reduction to a normal form is applied for space periodic modified Korteweg-de Vries equation. This permits the authors to decompose the equation into the resonant and the nonresonant part. As a consequence, the long time asymptotic behavior of solutions for high frequency initial data is determined.
