In this paper, the authors study the notion of disjointness for frequently hypercyclic operators. They give a Disjoint \(A\)-Hypercyclicity Criterion, where \(A \subset P(N)\) is the family of sets of positive lower density, positive upper density, or positive upper Banach density. They show that this criterion characterizes disjoint \(A\)-hypercyclicity for a family of unilateral pseudo-shifts on \(c_{0}(N)\) and \(l^{p}(N)\), \(1 \leq p\), which includes unilateral weighted shifts and their powers. Also, they show that the notions of frequent hypercyclicity, upper frequent, hypercyclicity, and reiterative hypercyclicity coincide for weighted shifts on \(l^{p}(N)\). They give counterexamples showing that this no longer true for disjoint versions of these notions. There are some open questions at the end of paper.
