The consistency propriety for allocation rules when communication is given by a conference structure is studied. Consistency means that a rule should be invariant when considered by a subgroup of individuals. This property is often used in cooperative game theory to characterize rules. In this paper an alternative characterization of the Myerson rule by means of consistency is also given. Both, the reduced game and the reduced conference structure in order to study consistency for allocation rules are defined. A potential as in the case of the Shapley value in Hart and Mas-Colell is also defined. Moreover, the study of this paper is also valid for the particular case of communication graph situations.
