Three different types of estimates for kernels of pseudodifferential operators (ps.d.o.) belonging to Hörmander's class \(L^ m_{\rho,\delta}\), \(0<\rho \leq 1\), \(0\leq \delta <1\) are verified: pointwise, integral and ``dyadic'' integral. The estimates just mentioned and some previous results of J. Hounie on \(L^ 2\) continuity of ps.d.o. enable the authors to obtain \((L^ 1,weak L^ 1)\), \((L^{\infty},BMO)\), \((L^ p,L^ q)\) and \((H^ p,L^ p)\) continuity conditions. (As usual, \(H^ p\) stands for the classical Hardy space.) It is interesting to note that all results of this paper are valid for \(\delta\geq \rho\) but the stress is on sharp conditions on m and the type of the operators.
