The paper studies the following problem \[ -\left ( \frac{|x'|^{p-2}x'}{(1-|x'|^p)^{1-\frac{1}{p}}}\right )'\in \partial F(t,x),\quad x(0)=x(T),\quad x'(0)=x'(T), \] where \(p>1\), \(F(.,.):[0,T]\times {\mathbb{R}}^n\to {\mathbb{R}}\) is a function that is measurable in the first variable and locally Lipschitz in the second variable and \(\partial F(t,x)\) is Clarke's generalized gradient of \(F(t,.)\) at \(x\in {\mathbb{R}}^n\). Under certain technical assumptions on the function \(F\) two existence results for the problem considered are obtained. The proofs are essentially based on the critical point theory for locally Lipschitz perturbations of convex lower semicontinuous functions. Three examples are also provided.
