A sequence of finite dimensional algebras \(C_ f\), \(f\in \mathbb{N}\), depending on two complex parameters \(r\) and \(q\) is studied. They arise from Kauffman's link invariant and Drinfeld's and Jimbo's q-deformation of Lie algebras of types \(B,C,D\). \(C_ f\) is defined by generators \(g_ 1\), \(g_ 2,\ldots,g_{f-1}\) with braid relations \(g_ ig_{i+1}g_ i=g_{i+1}g_ ig_{i+1}\), \(g_ ig_ j=g_ jg_ i\) if \(| i- j|\geq 2\) and two more relations \(p_ ig_{i-1}p_ i=\alpha p_ i\), \((g_ i-r^{-1})\) \((g_ i+q^{-1})(g_ i-q)=0\), where \(p_ i\) is the spectral idempotent belonging to the characteristic value \(r^{- 1}\) of \(g_ i\) and \(\alpha\) is a fixed scalar depending on \(r\) and \(q\). The condition of semisimplicity of the \(C_ f(r,q)\) is found. Unitary representations of the infinite braid group \(B_ \infty\) are classified. Using these unitary representations new examples of irreducible subfactors of finite depth, whose indices are squares of \(q\) dimensions of irreducible representations of symplectic and orthogonal groups are found. Truncated Weyl chambers and multiplicity coefficients of fusion rules for Wess-Zumino-Witten models are obtained.
