The authors are extending lower bounds for the stability margins of 2D digital systems to the general \(n\)D \((n>2)\) case. Next the stability of the so-called CRSD (causal, recursive separable denominator) \(n\)D systems due to finite wordlength and the asymptotic version of it for systems with overflow nonlinearities are considered. Finally, global stability of CRSD \(n\)D systems is investigated.
