The paper deals with fuzzy relation equations on a finite set [cf. \textit{K. Cechlárová} and \textit{K. Kolesár}, Linear Algebra Appl. 256, 141-152 (1997; Zbl 0877.15018); \textit{X. Liu}, J. Fuzzy Math. 2, No. 2, 327-333 (1994; Zbl 0810.15008)]. For regular matrices over the semiring \(([0,1],\max,\min)\) the author examines the family of all generalized inverses [cf. \textit{C. K. Zhao}, Fuzzy Sets Syst. 34, No. 1, 103-116 (1990; Zbl 0687.15011)] and finds new solvability criteria for fuzzy relation equations. These results use the max-min adjoint of regular matrices [cf. \textit{M. Z. Ragab} and \textit{E. G. Emam}, Fuzzy Sets Syst. 61, No. 3, 297-307 (1994; Zbl 0835.15002)].
