Routhly speaking, the arithmetic mean of a sequence of L-R fuzzy numbers sometimes converges to a crisp number. The validity of such a law of large numbers (LLN) depends heavily on the spread behaviour of the fuzzy numbers and on the t-norm which is used to define the addition between fuzzy numbers. Most general sufficient conditions for such LLN's were presented by the first author together with Lee in an earlier paper. In this paper, these results are generalized and, furthermore, LLN's for i.i.d. random L-R fuzzy numbers are considered. In contrast to the usual strong or weak LLN's here the convergence is evaluated by the necessity measure.
