Let \(u\) be a locally integrable function on an open set \(\omega\) in \(\mathbb{R}^n\) \((n\geq 2)\). Then \(u\) is called \(m\)-harmonic (respectively, \(m\)-subharmonic) on \(\omega\) if \(\Delta^m u= 0\) (respectively, \(\Delta^m u\geq 0\)) on \(\omega\) in the sense of distributions. The author begins by establishing a representation near infinity, involving certain types of \(\delta\)-superharmonic functions on \(\mathbb{R}^n\), for functions that are \(m\)-harmonic outside a compact set in \(\mathbb{R}^n\). This is then used to deduce various results (such as Bôcher-type theorems) for such functions. The final section considers results of this nature for functions that are \(m\)-subharmonic outside a compact set.
