This is an attempt to develop efficient numerical algorithms to solve the exterior boundary value problems for slow viscous flow under the assumption that exterior forces form a conservative system. The governing equations are formulated in the form of a suitable system of boundary integral equations. The boundary element method is used to reduce the problem to solving an algebraic system and the approximation procedure is analysed for uniform asymptotic convergence. A new multigrid procedure is proposed to solve the system efficiently. A numerical example is given to illustrate the mathematically developed method.
