The author introduces two new geometries for \(J_ 3\) and \(O'N\). For \(J_ 3\) the geometry consists of three objects called vectors, points and lines. The vectors are the 2-central involutions, points are four groups consisting entirely of 2-central involutions and lines are elementary abelian subgroups of \(J_ 3\) of order 16 normalized by \(A_ 5\). This yields a geometry for \(J_ 3\) on which \(J_ 3\) acts flag transitively. Unfortunately this geometry is not residually connected. But the reduced Lefschetz module (over a field of characteristic two) obtained from this geometry is projective. The second geometry for \(O'N\) is of rank four. The objects are right cosets of certain subgroups of \(O'N\), which are \(J_ 1\), \(M_{11}\), the centralizer of an involution and the normalizer of a certain elementary abelian subgroup of order 9. Also this geometry is not residually connected. A related geometry which is of rank five has been obtained by \textit{A. Ivanov}, \textit{S. V. Shpektorov} [Usp. Mat. Nauk 41, No.3, 183-184 (1986; Zbl 0626.20009)].
