The author defines the ``q-analogues'' which generalize the exponential and logarithmic function. The Padé approximants of these functions are defined, using a general contour integral and differential formula. Approximants to the partial theta function, and Hermite-Padé approximants to the q-exponential and q-logarithm are also discussed.
