On idempotent states on quantum groups (Q734800)

The authors give general definitions of algebraic quantum groups and hypergroups, finite quantum groups and hypergroups, respectively. The authors analyse group-like projections in the multiplier algebra and the construction of corresponding quantum subhypergroups. The authors also study idempotent states on compact quantum groups and finite quantum groups, and a natural order structure on the set of idempotent states.
