The authors consider the third-order nonlinear delay differential equation \[ x'''(t)+p(t)x'(t)+q(t)f(x(\tau(t)))=0 \] in order to establish new oscillation results. These results do not require \(\tau'(t)\geq0\) compared with some known results in the literature. Examples are given to illustrate these results and some open problems.
