The representation dimension is a concept introduced by \textit{M. Auslander} [Representation dimension of Artin algebras. Queen Mary College Mathematics Notes. (1971; Zbl 0331.16026)] to measure in some sense how far an algebra is from being representation finite. This notion has also been related to the finistic dimension conjecture by \textit{K. Igusa} and \textit{G. Todorov} [Fields Institute Communications 45, 201--204 (2005; Zbl 1082.16011)]. On the other hand, the cluster category and cluster-tilting objects were introduced by \textit{A. Buan} et al. [Adv. Math. 204, No. 2, 572--618 (2006; Zbl 1127.16011)] from the theory of cluster algebras. Cluster-tilted algebras \(\mathrm{End}_\mathcal{C} (T)\) are endomorphisms algebras of a cluster-tilting object \(T\) in a cluster category \(\mathcal{C}\). A cluster-concealed algebra is given by \(\mathrm{End}_\mathcal{C} (\widetilde{T})\) with \(\widetilde{T}\) induced by a pre-projective tilting module. The aim of this article is to compute the representation dimension of cluster concealed algebras by showing an explicit Auslander generator and prove that this dimension is three. The key tool for finding these generators is the concept of local slice as defined by \textit{I. Assem, } et al. [J. Algebra 319, No. 8, 3464--3479 (2008; Zbl 1159.16011)].
