For \(1\leq q_0,q_1,p<\infty\), let \({\mathcal C}_{(q_0,q_1;p)}(E;F)\) denote the class of all linear operators \(T\) between Banach spaces \(E\) and \(F\) such that there exists a constant \(C>0\) satisfying \[ \Big(\sum_{i=1}^m |\varphi_i(T(x_i))|^{q_0}\Big)^{1/q_0}\leq C \|(x_i)_{i=1}^m\|_{q_1}\|(\varphi_i)_{i=1}^m\|_{w,p^*}, \] for all positive integers \(m\) and all \(x_i\in E\), \(\varphi_i\in F'\), \(i=1,\dots,m\). Let \(\Gamma_p:=\{(q_0,q_1)\in [1,\infty)\times (1,\infty):\frac 1{q_0}=\frac 1{q_1}+\frac1{p*}\}\). The main aim of the paper is to prove that \({\mathcal C}_{(q_0,q_1;p)}(E;F)={\mathcal C}_{(p_0,p_1;p)}(E;F)\) for all \((q_0,q_1),(p_0,p_1)\in \Gamma_p\). In particular, for all \((q_0,q_1)\in \Gamma_p\), \({\mathcal C}_{(q_0,q_1;p)}(E;F)={\mathcal C}_{(1,p;p)}(E;F)\), the class of all Cohen strongly \(p\)-summing linear operators from \(E\) to \(F\). To get the proof, the author gives equivalent classes of \(R_1,R_2-S\)-abstract \((q_1,p^*)\)-summing operators, defined in [\textit{D. Pellegrino} et al., Adv. Math. 229, No. 2, 1235--1265 (2012; Zbl 1248.47024)] and with its origins in [\textit{G. Botelho} et al., J. Math. Anal. Appl. 365, No. 1, 269--276 (2010; Zbl 1193.46026)]. The argument is extended to multilinear operators.
