It is well known that the \(L^p(\mathbb{T})\) (\(1<p<\infty\)) boundedness of the Carleson maximal operator \[ Cf(x)=\sup_{n\in\mathbb{N}} \left|\text{p}.\text{v}.\, \int_{\mathbb{T}}f(x-t) e^{2\pi\,\text{int}} \frac{dt}{t}\right| \] implies the almost everywhere convergence of the sequence of partial Fourier sums of \(f\in L^p(\mathbb{T})\). The paper focuses on the weak-\(L^p(\mathbb{T})\) boundedness of the Walsh-Fourier version of the Carleson operator. More precisely, let \(W_nf\) be the \(n\)-th partial Walsh-Fourier sum of an integrable function \(f\) on \(\mathbb{T}\), and define the Walsh-Carleson maximal operator by \[ W f(x)=\sup_{n\in\mathbb{N}} |W_n f(x)|,\quad x\in \mathbb{T}. \] The author proves that, for any \(1<p\leq 2\), the Walsh-Carleson maximal operator is bounded from \(L^p(\mathbb{T})\) into \(L^{p,\infty}(\mathbb{T})\) with the operator norm no more than \((p-1)^{-1}\) multiplied by a positive constant.
