In this nice paper, the authors present a unified approach to characterize boundedness, compactness, and weak compactness of composition operators from the Bloch space to some spaces belonging to a wide family of spaces of analytic functions on the unit disc \({\mathbb D}\) having conformal invariance properties. This includes BMOA, Besov spaces and spaces \(Q_\alpha\). More specifically, the Bloch space \({\mathcal B}\) is the space of analytic functions on \({\mathbb D}\) such that \(\displaystyle\sup_{z\in\mathbb{D}}\big(1-|z|^2\big)|f'(z)|<\infty\). The authors are particularly interested in the Möbius invariant space \(M\big({\mathcal D}^p_\mu\big)\) where \(\mu\) is a positive Borel measure on \({\mathbb D}\) and \(f\) belongs to \(M\big({\mathcal D}^p_\mu\big)\) iff \[ \big\|f\big\|^p_{M\big({\mathcal D}^p_\mu\big)}:=|f(0)|^p+\sup_{\sigma\in \operatorname{Aut}({\mathbb D})}\int_{\mathbb D} |(f\circ\sigma)'|^p\,d\mu<\infty. \] We shall not state all the results, but mention Theorem 1 which asserts that weak compactness and compactness of the composition operator \(C_\varphi:f\mapsto f\circ\varphi\) are equivalent, and it is characterized by \[ \lim_{r\rightarrow1^-}\sup_{z\in\mathbb{D}} \int_{\{|\varphi\circ\sigma|>r\}} |(\varphi\circ\sigma)^{\#}|^p\,d\mu=0, \] where \(g^\#\) denotes the hyperbolic derivative of \(g\). Theorem 4 gives the same kind of result when the space \(M\big({\mathcal D}^p_\mu\big)\) is replaced by its ``boundary vanishing'' version \(M_0\big({\mathcal D}^p_\mu\big)\).
