The authors consider meromorphic functions \(f(z)\) in the unit disc \(\mathbb D\). Denote by \[ \rho_{\log}(f)=\limsup_{r\to1^{-}}\frac{\log^+ T(r,f)}{\log\left(\log\frac{1}{1-r}\right)} \] the logarithmic order of \(f(z)\). In Part I [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 415, No. 1, 435--461 (2014; Zbl 1308.30035)] they explained that the concept of logarithmic order in the unit disc gives a natural growth scale for meromorphic functions of unbounded characteristic. In this second part, they treat \(f(z)\) in the analytic case in terms of the maximum modulus \(M(r,f)\), the maximum term \(\mu(r,f)\) and the Taylor coefficients. Further they consider the Wiman-Valiron theory in \(\mathbb D\). This article is devoted to the relation \(\rho_{\log}^\mu(f)\leq\rho_{\log}^M(f)\leq\rho_{\log}^\mu(f)+1,\) where \[ \rho_{\log}^M(f)=\limsup_{r\to1^{-}}\frac{\log^+\log^+ M(r,f)}{\log\left(\log\frac{1}{1-r}\right)},\;\;\rho_{\log}^\mu(f)=\limsup_{r\to1^{-}}\frac{\log^+\log^+ \mu(r,f)}{\log\left(\log\frac{1}{1-r}\right)}, \] and to refine the Wiman-Valiron theory due to \textit{P. C. Fenton} and \textit{J. Rossi} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 367, No. 1, 137--145 (2010; Zbl 1205.30028)].
