Given a semisimple complex finite dimensional Lie algebra \(\mathfrak{g}\) and its fixed triangular decomposition \(\mathfrak{g}=\mathfrak{n}_-\oplus\mathfrak{h}\oplus \mathfrak{n}_+\), consider the associated category \(\mathcal{O}\) defined by \textit{I. N. Bernstein} et al. [Funct. Anal. Appl. 10, 87--92 (1976; Zbl 0353.18013); translation from Funkts. Anal. Prilozh. 10, No. 2, 1--8 (1976)]. The aim of the paper is to prove Conjecture 3.3, stated by \textit{C. Stroppel} [Duke Math. J. 126, No. 3, 547--596 (2005; Zbl 1112.17010)], in type \(A\): \textit{The restriction of an indecomposable projective functor from \(\mathcal{O}\) to the parabolic category is either indecomposable or zero.} Consequently, projective functors on the category \(\mathcal{O}\) in type \(A\) are completely determined, up to isomorphism, by the linear transformations they induce on the level of the Grothendieck group.
