This article is motivated by an influential theorem of \textit{G. Tian} [J. Differ. Geom. 32, No. 1, 99--130 (1990; Zbl 0706.53036)]. The authors investigate the asymptotic behavior of the Bergman kernel associated to high powers of a positive line bundle \(L\) over a projective manifold from the point of view of varying the metric on \(L\). The reason for this study is that to understand the case of a semipositive singular metric, one would naturally approximate by smooth positively curved metrics, but then one needs to know how the Bergman kernel depends on the positivity of the curvature of the metric. Fixing a smooth Hermitian metric \(h_0\) on \(L\) whose first Chern form \(\omega_0\) is Kähler, the authors consider a metric \(h:=e^{-2\phi}h_0\) on \(L\) for a sufficiently smooth weight \(\phi\) such that \(\omega:=dd^c \phi + \omega_0 \geq \zeta \omega_0\) for some positive constant \(\zeta\). The goal is to estimate the Bergman kernel associated to smooth sections of \(L^p\) with the natural metric induced by \(h\). Previously [\textit{T.-C. Dinh} et al., Ann. Sci. Éc. Norm. Supér. (4) 50, No. 3, 545--578 (2017; Zbl 1379.32016)] the authors obtained an \(L^1\) estimate in terms of \(\phi\), \(\omega\), \(p\), and \(\zeta\). Now they obtain a uniform estimate. The method also yields uniform estimates of derivatives.
