The author deals with the domination problem for abstract Urysohn narrow operators. First, he proves a theorem on the structure of the Boolean algebra of fragments of a positive abstract Urysohn operator mapping a vector lattice to a Dedekind complete vector lattice. This result is then used to prove the following main theorem of the paper, Theorem 4.2. Let \(\mathcal{U}_+(E,F)\) denote the set of all positive abstract Urysohn operators from \(E\) to \(F\), where \(E\) is an atomless vector lattice with the principal projection property, and \(F\) is a Banach lattice with an order continuous norm. If \(T\in \mathcal{U}_+(E,F)\) is an order narrow operator, then for every \(S\in \mathcal{U}_+(E,F)\), \(0\leq S \leq T\) implies that \(S\) is order narrow. The open problem whether Theorem 4.2 is true for an arbitrary Dedekind complete vector lattice \(F\) is also posed in the paper.
