Applications of fractional differential equations in the field of modelling have seen good growth in recent years. In order to make a model more realistic, it is natural to consider impulsive effects. Impulsive effects can be of many types and non-instantaneous impulses is one type. As the name suggests, these impulses occurs in the interval. This survey paper is about works done on Caputo fractional differential equations with non-instantaneous impulses. The main focus is on the approaches and interpretation of the solutions of such kind of differential equations. Authors compare both approaches and give their advantages and disadvantages. To show the differences, examples are used.
