This paper concerns the existence, uniqueness and stability of the Landau equation in a general bounded domain with a physical boundary condition. More precisely, this work proves the global stability of the Landau equation with the Coulombic potential in a general smooth bounded domain with the specular reflection boundary condition for initial perturbations of the Maxwellian equilibrium states. This work generalizes the recent global stability result for the Landau equation in a periodic box. The proof is based on the of the generalization of the well-posedness theory for the Fokker-Planck equation, the extension of the boundary value problem to a whole space problem, the extension of De Giorgi-Nash-Moser theory to the kinetic Fokker-Planck equations and deep Morrey estimates. Thanks to this interesting and new approch, the authors are able to make low-regularity assumptions for the initial distribution.
