Vortex lattices and the Bogoliubov-de Gennes equations (Q2227265)

The authors investigate the Bogoliubov-de Gennes equations of superconductivity, and study static solutions with the magnetic field present. In particular, the authors prove existence of the normal and vortex lattice states and show the stability of the normal states for large temperature or magnetic fields and their instability for small temperature and small magnetic fields.
